This week in Previously…Scotland’s history festival

Branch member Jackie Kemp wants to let you know about a free event she has organised at Previously…Scotland’s history festival. It’s a lively panel discussion about the events surrounding the Union of Parliaments called “1707: What Really Happened.” On the panel are  historians Michael Fry, and Christopher Whatley, Professor Murray Pittock and playwrights Tim Barrow and Jen McGregor. It’s at 28 York Place November 19 Thursday 7.45pm. Should be fun. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/1707-what-really-happened-tickets-19456207039
